Bokashi Product Uses

Did you know that anything between 20-50% of the waste that ends up in our landfills comes from organic waste?

That’s waste such as garden waste, kitchen leftovers, food processing wastes and sewage sludge for example. Yet by sending such waste to landfills, we’re taking up valuable space, helping to produce greenhouse gases and damaging the environment for future generations of New Zealanders. We’re also encouraging problems with pests, rodents and bad smells from rotting food and wasting valuable natural resources. This is because remains from animals and plants can be used to improve our soil and fertilise the plants around us.

The New Zealand Govt is currently implementing a policy of zero waste and a sustainable NZ.
