Our company cleaned out the Septic Tank for Mr Eric Culpitt at 2 Ridge Road Surfdale. The bacteria in the tank appears to be working very well as th solids had broken down completely leaving an almost clear effluent, as Mr Culpitt is the sole occupant of the house the tank had been checked and left for 5 years since the last clean out. Mr Culpitt told us he was using a product (Bokashi Bucket Juice) promoted by your organization which appears to have been of great benefit to the operation of the system.

Keeping the kennels & our small property clean with dogs has been very simple with a Bokashi compost set up. We dug a hole approx. 1m deep & wide enough to sit a 10litre paint bucket in the top. Cut the bottom out of the bucket & ensure the lid fits well.

Then simply dispose of the dog poo down the hole, layering it up with compost zing. We put about 3 tablespoons of compost zing for every 1-2 inches of waste. There is no or very little odour when we open the lid. After 6 months use the hole is approx a foot full & working very well. We have 3 working dogs.
